All Kovalencik

All Kovalencik first started photographing on Nantucket in 1971 after buying a Pentax Spotmatic Camera at Gene Mahon's Camera Shop on Main Street.

He began showing his images at local restaurants around town and became a member of the Nantucket Artist Association in 1988. He has shown his photos at the Little Gallery and The Main Street Gallery. 

In 1988 he purchased a Macintosh computer and one of the first Apple versions of Photoshop. Photo manipulation either by computer or, in the early days using Polaroid film, has become part of All ’s technique to create an image that spans the reality of the moment and the eye of the Artist.
