Dianne Coscia is a pediatrician with over 25 years of experience caring for children and families. After a fulfilling medical career, she is now combining her passion for health, community, and the environment by joining Sustainable Nantucket. Dianne’s interest in sustainable living stems from her belief in the vital connection between healthy food systems, environmental stewardship, and well-being.
Throughout her career, she has emphasized the importance of nutrition and the role of fresh, locally grown food in supporting healthy development.
In her new role, Dianne works to promote sustainable farming practices, food education, and community engagement. She is especially excited to help connect children and families with the land, to foster a deeper understanding of where their food comes from.
Outside of her professional life, Dianne enjoys listening to music, meals with friends, gardening, riding her bike and spending time with her husband. Her transition reflects her commitment to building a healthier future for the next generation.
