Ellie Olsen
Business Development & Events
Ellie Olsen grew up outside of Boston, spending small periods of her summers visiting her grandmother on Nantucket. In the summer of 2020, Ellie moved out to the island to hunker down during the pandemic, and, after falling in love with the community and landscape, she hasn’t left.
Ellie comes from a mixed background of food service and non-profit work. For the past five years, Ellie has owned and operated Ellie O’s Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches, a mobile food cart you can find around the island during the summer. Previously, Ellie worked for the Nantucket Shellfish Association; her work included planning and executing events such as Scallopalooza and Oysterfest.
Ellie is on the board of the Nantucket Racquet Sports Association, and a life-long rider in the Pan-Mass Challenge, raising funds for breast cancer research in honor of her mother.
When not at work, you can find Ellie primarily outside, playing paddle tennis, going for long walks through the trails, and bike riding around the island.
