Come one, come all, growers, farmers, and garden enthusiasts! Join us in the Great Hall for a seed sharing & social event in collaboration with Sustainable Nantucket, The Nantucket Conservation Foundation & The Nantucket Land Bank. Light refreshments will be provided. 

Together we'll talk about the process of saving seeds of edible and ornamental plants, how to safely store seeds, and how you can build your own seed bank! 

As we socialize, we'll have time to share seeds, so if you have seeds you'd like to swap, bring those with you! Saved some of your favorite varieties of Tomatoes? Perhaps you have some extra flower seeds? No seeds? No problem! The Atheneum will also provide a limited supply of seeds for folks looking to stock up, while supplies last.
